Rocky Mountain Writers’ Festival
I have been invited to read at this year’s Rocky Mountain Writers’ Festival on April 7th in Pocatello, Idaho–not too far, as it happens, from Soda Springs, the town in which my book takes place. I will also be teaching a class at Idaho State University. Now in its 18th year, the RMWF will run from April 7th–April 12th. Please visit their website for location information. Also reading at this year’s festival is the hugely talented Paisley Rekdal. Stay tuned for more details.

Hi, Brandon-
We met at a conference at the Eccles Center a year or two ago; I presented on prostitution in Pocatello and was interested in having you on an ISU radio show (since cancelled).
I’m excited to see that you’ll be featured at the Rocky Mountain Writer’s Festival, a mere block from the house. I was really impressed with your writing and I look forward to reading the book… congrats on publication!
I’m off to the top of the webpage to pre-order the book; see you in April!

Thanks, Will. I definitely remember you. You gave one of the most engaging presentations in recent memory and all from mere post-it-notes (as I recall). While most people read their presentations word for word, you seemed to have had yours, I dunno, memorized!? You also drew on fire-maps, which was fantastic! It was great. Anyway, thanks for remembering my work and for supporting the work!
Cheers,
